How To Stack Rings: 5 Easy Tips for the Minimalist or Maximalist

This week I'm sharing tips on how you can utilize rings to add a touch of interest and sparkle to any look. Whether you're a minimalist or a maximalist, ring stacking is fun way to play with your look. Take a peek at this week's video for detailed information, and check out the individual looks below!

1: START WITH A HERO PIECE

Choose 1-2 pieces to highlight. By choosing your hero piece first, you have a foundation to build your stack. This gives you direction and inspiration for the perfectly personalized look.

2: MIX AND MATCH YOUR METALS

There's no need to commit to a single metal color. Mixing and matching your metals is a subtle (yet sparkly) way of adding a "pop" to your hands. I recommend choosing rings that are built for mixing-and-matching to make it easier. For example, our Margo ring (here) and Alpine ring (here) are engineered so they sit perfectly flushed when stacked.

3: WEAR BANDS IN THE SAME COLOR

If you're new to stacking or prefer a more minimalistic look, I recommend sticking to bands in the same color. Because bands are lateral, they make it easier to grow a stack without worrying about any odd shapes. Since bands come in all sorts of widths, with or without stones, and textures, you can still have fun with the look.

4: INVEST IN VERSATILE PIECES

Versatile pieces are perfect for when you want to switch up your look and get more use out of your pieces. Rings like our Parsons (here) can be stacked for a look, or broken apart to be worn separately.

5: PLAY WITH VOLUME

Volume is another way to play with the stack. Mixing thicker bands with thinner ones can help add texture and give length to your fingers. You can also play with texture and shimmer with your rings.
